EILEEN LAM: MUM : "CLEAN YOUR ROOM! GUESTS ARE COMING" "Oh, I'm sorry I didn't know the gathering was going to be held in my bedroom"

So, today I decided to clean my room. Wish I did it day before - guests did come over today. So wonderful seeing Candy again. We spoke - blah blah. Drove to Fairfield to Homeart to find 'cup holders?' Found none so ventured into K-Mart. Found em. SCORE. TOOK ME ROUGHLY - 8 hours to clean my bedroom. I was messaging CC and Tumblring. Biggest distractions ever!

I remember when I was in Primary I missed out on a 'Blue award' which was one of the highest awards you could get. It allowed you to go to then WONDERLAND for free :( It was part of what you'd get if you had the award. I was so disappointed in myself. I was literally 2 awards from getting it. From what I recall you had to get 5 white awards to get a gold award. 4 Gold awards would lead you to the Blue Award. I had only 18 white awards. PISSED OFF. Also what made me feel worst was. All my closest girl-friends all earned the Blue award. There was one occasion when they all went to Wonderland. I was left alone. :'(

SO when I entered High School I promised myself I would at least earn myself a medallion. I tried so hard!! It was actually pretty hard. I needed 96 merits to get this. I almost failed at earning it. But I was such a determined kid. I earned the Bronze one. But I mean 96 merits that's freaking crazy! So I'm very proud of myself If I do say. Most of my friends didn't even get the chance to get one (most of them were just lazy to hand in) LOL. Others were reluctant because. When you earn the medallion. You get it during assembly. Thing is the teacher who is announcing your name gives a speech about you and you have to walk across the school in front of everyone. I remember my year advisor approaching me and asking

Teacher : "So Eileen, are you in any of the groups at school? Clean up? Drama etc?"

Me : Nopes

Teacher : Okay, Have you helped out on charity events?

Me : Nopes

Teacher : Odd you have so many awards for helping the school.

Me : Really? Cool.

Teacher : Okay I'll try to figure something out.

THE REASON FOR THIS WAS. She was trying to figure out what to type about me so they could give a speech about me. Believe me, most of the people who got medallions was because they participated in some school activity. I DID JACK SHIT LOL and I got the award. I recall my speech was just about me being such a good kid in class cause there was nothing they could say about me. HAHAHA
